Arrived and checked into hotel room .. 18 floors up in Mandarin Oriental with view of the harbour/marina ( see picture from room ) .. Went for several wanders including an orientation tour which took us to the rather splendid Orchid Gardens ... Also a trip to Raffles .. We dressed up and attended the main part of the hotel for a very reasonable business lunch and of course .. A Singapore Sling ..
